Fear of the Superficial

All we are is our thoughts.
What we think defines who we are.
It defines our morals, our standards, our anguishes, everything.
And you can change your thought patterns. This means you can change who you are if you want it bad enough.

We are not what we wear, how we look, how much money we have, what car we drive, how clean our room is. We are not defined by how well we mimic Kylie Jenner, how well we try to be a ‘boss’, how well we do our make-up and follow the latest trends.

I am not saying you should not enjoy that kind of stuff but I AM saying it is not important. You need to prioritise your life. I love working out and feeling sexy but I make sure my brain and my soul comes first. I make sure that my priorities are in check.

I do not dislike any of the Kardashian/Jenner clan because I think they bring a lot to the table regarding self-confidence, self-love and body image but I believe they could be doing a lot more for the world with their platform. They could be using their brands to influence huge amounts of the global population for the benefit only of the earth, not for financial gain. Imagine if they said no to fur, said no to single use plastic, spoke up about climate change or education in developing countries. They could almost change the world overnight if they wanted to, but instead they are too self obsessed to see the big picture.

Focus on your goals and what sets your passion on fire and let go of this increasing trend of boss girls that only care about making money and lip injections.

Inside first, outside second.

So much love,
